Cornell encourages all students, faculty, and staff to take responsibility for their own health and the health of others by adopting habits to prevent and slow the spread of COVID-19.
Respect your friends. Wear a mask. To protect you and others around you, wear a mask indoors and when physical distancing is not possible outdoors.
Wash your hands often with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds. Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol if washing is not an option.
Stay home and avoid contact with others when you are sick. Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
Everyone has a role to play to ensure the health and safety of Cornellians and the communities we share. It’s up to all of us to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Practice physical distancing (staying at least 6 feet apart from others), minimizing close contact among groups of people.
All students must complete the Daily Check every day (including weekends). Faculty and staff with approval to be on the Cornell campus must complete the Daily Check prior to arrival each day.
