Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities (EBV)
September 29, 2018
September 29th kicks off the 2018 Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities (EBV). This will be the seventh year that the Hotel School had the honor of hosting the weeklong program, which was founded at Syracuse University in 2007 and has since grown in national scope as Cornell and other institutions joined the EBV Consortium. Under the direction of Professor Neil Tarallo, EBV-Cornell draws veterans interested in starting businesses within the food and beverage and other hospitality-related industries.
The Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities (EBV) offers cutting edge, experiential training in entrepreneurship and small business management to post-9/11 veterans with disabilities resulting from their service to our country. The EBV is designed to open the door to business ownership for our veterans by 1) developing the individual’s skills in the many steps and activities associated with launching and growing a small business, and by 2) helping to leverage programs and services for veterans and people with disabilities in a way that furthers their entrepreneurial dreams. This year's program runs from September 29th through October 6th.
