Aaron Adalja

Assistant professor of food and beverage management at the School of Hotel Administration

Academic focus

Aaron Adalja joins the Hotel School with an academic focus on food and agricultural economics, empirical industrial organization, quality disclosure and labeling, food safety, and local food systems.

Experience

Most recently, Adalja was a PhD candidate and research assistant at the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics at the University of Maryland. His academic background includes a PhD in agricultural and resource economics from the University of Maryland, an MS in agricultural and resource economics from the University of Maryland, an AOS in culinary arts from the Culinary Institute of America, a BA in physics, magna cum laude, from Case Western Reserve University, and a BS in management: finance major, magna cum laude, from the Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western Reserve University.
