On joining the Cornell SC Johnson College of Business
“Cornell Tech is a bold experiment to reinvent education for the modern, tech-enabled economy. I love the tech sector and it’s going to be super exciting to help be part of building an MBA education for the new economy.”
“Cornell is one of the great universities of the world and is especially strong in my core discipline of operations research and related engineering disciplines like computer science. I look forward to working with world-class researchers in engineering and science as part of the interdisciplinary culture of Cornell Tech.”
In his spare time, van Ryzin enjoys outdoor adventures (skiing, rock climbing, biking) and running. He played bass guitar in a band for two years before going to college and still loves music.
