Family. Thought. Leadership.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Family businesses are dynamic, yet complex. They include everything from the corner store to the Fortune 500. By most estimates, they make up between 70-90% of all businesses globally, higher in some of the emerging markets. Regardless of size, understanding, and harnessing the complexities of the family dynamic is a constant. Programs offered through the Smith Family Business Initiative bring together business leaders and family members in a multitude of forums and venues to further explore their family, their business, and their future. Programs are open to all eligible participants, however, participation in certain programs may be restricted to family businesses or alumni only to ensure confidentiality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

eCornell Family Business Leadership Cornell Certificate Program<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This instructor-led Cornell Certificate Program will provide professionals with the skills to navigate the complexities of family business. Created by both practitioners and academics, this program will equip professionals with new tools and strategies to lead a thriving family business. You will receive the Family Business Leadership Certificate from Cornell University’s SC Johnson College of Business and 40 Professional Development Hours (4 CEUs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
