The Family Business Alliance was formed in 2003 to bring together directors of university-based family business programs. While this remains an informal association of professionals, we welcome the participation of additional directors of family business programs in the academic space. There are approximately 50 centers dispersed throughout the United States and Canada that are affiliated with the Family Business Alliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For an up-to-date list of affiliated family business centers, as well as an archive and schedule of Family Business Alliance meetings, please visit the Family Business Success Blog<\/a>. The Family Firm Institute also maintains a global list of global family business programs<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Family Business Alliance maintains an active listserv that allows for directors and affiliates to share current news, events, and topics.<\/p>\n\n\n
