P. Morgan Chase, and Related Companies during the Cornell Real Estate Club\u2019s second annual \u201cReal Estate Trek\u201d to New York City. The trip is organized through the Center for Real Estate Finance. A total of 15 students participated in this event, which provides them with an opportunity to view the buildings and consult with the real estate professionals, as well as see the inner workings of the deals\u2019 finances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to meeting with Goldman Sachs and J. P. Morgan Chase executives, the students were able to visit the MiMa Tower, which is operated by Related Companies, an integrated, highly-diversified industry firm with expertise in virtually every aspect of development, acquisitions, management, finance, and sales. Located on 42nd Street, MiMa (Middle of Manhattan) is a 63-story tower that includes residences and Yotel, a new hotel concept.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Egemen Karabulut \u201912, who participated in this year\u2019s trip and also in the inaugural trek in 2010 when participants met with Tishman Group, found the experience to be \u201cinspirational.\u201d He said: \u201cThis was an opportunity that could not be missed and could not found in any other club. Whether being a U.S. native or international student, like myself, you may not have the chance to visit any of these properties and meet with these great professionals with whom we had chance to discuss and share ideas. It really was and is a once in a lifetime opportunity.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With a listserv of over 200 students, the Real Estate Club is an outgrowth of the Minor in Real Estate, which is the largest undergraduate minor at Cornell and enrolls students from all seven undergraduate colleges and schools.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cornell students visited Goldman Sachs, J.
