Our unique immersion program<\/a> allows veterans to quickly get up-to-speed as career-changers. That first-year deep dive into a subject matter is good for any career changer, but can be especially true for veterans as you transition back to the academic environment and into the world of business. You can go with confidence into your internship with four or five accounting courses under your belt compared to the one you would acquire at other b-schools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, you’ll find a small class size with incredibly supportive staff and faculty that makes Johnson a unique place among elite business schools.<\/p>\n\n\n

The Association of Veterans is a tight-knit organization that actively recruits and supports veteran students from application through graduation. Members meet with prospective students, advise on applications, and foster a strong community throughout Johnson and Cornell.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n

Career prep<\/h3>\n \n
\n

The Association of Veterans works with MBA students to position them for success in the summer and full-time job markets. Annual resume reviews and interview workshops in the fall to help prepare their members for on-campus interviews. The goal is 100% summer and full-time job placement for all veterans.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n \n <\/article>\n <\/div>\n

Recruiting Johnson candidates<\/h3>\n \n

They actively work with military veterans who are interested in learning more about Johnson. They can provide you with advice and information on the application process and are available to answer questions along the way. Association members are available to meet with prospective students during visits to campus.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n \n <\/article>\n <\/div>\n

The Association of Veterans works with the Cornell Community to focus a spotlight on the positive role of the military in our society as well as the achievements of military veterans. They work with University ROTC branches providing mentoring and classroom instruction to ROTC cadets. In addition, they support local Veterans groups like the Cornell Veterans Colleague Network.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n \n <\/article>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/section>\n <\/div>\n\n <\/section>\n\n\n

Nolan gift endows scholarship fund for veterans at Johnson<\/h2>\n\n

Cornell Trustee Emeritus Peter Nolan ’80, MBA ’82, and his wife, Stephanie Nolan ’84, have given nearly $2 million to help the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management support U.S. military veterans seeking an MBA.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n
