Makenley is a Center for Emerging Markets Fellow with a strong interest in health care and fintech development in emerging markets. He is a full-time student in the Cornell MBA program at the Johnson School. Before Cornell, he worked in financial services with a primary focus on credit risk. He holds a bachelor’s degree from East Stroudsburg University.
