2020 Emerging Markets Theme Launch
The Emerging Markets Institute, Cornell Institute for China Economic Research, and SMART program, in collaboration with Cornell China Center, Mario Einaudi Center for International Studies, and Tata Cornell Institute for Agriculture and Nutrition, will be hosting an online event to launch the Emerging Markets Theme within the SC Johnson College of Business! The theme will focus on an important cross-cutting and interdisciplinary topic and focus on research, broad teaching/learning initiatives, and external engagement. The goal of this meeting is to share on-going research and activities of the current centers in the College of Business and Cornell at large.
This exciting online event was held on Friday, September 18 from 10:00AM to 11:30AM on Zoom.

10:40 – 11:05am : Cornell Centers related to Emerging Markets by Shanjun Li (CICER), Ndunge Kiiti (SMART), Prabhu Pingali (Tata-Cornell Institute), Lourdes Casanova (EMI), and Ying Hua (China Center)
11:05 – 11:30am : Emerging Markets Theme Program for 2020-2021, Q&A by Arnab Basu, Lourdes Casanova, and Christopher Marquis, Closing by Wendy Wolford, VP of International Affairs.
