Student Perspectives – Alex Strauch, SHA ’18
I had a blast meeting industry leaders at the New York Times Food For Tomorrow Conference hosted at Blue Hill Stone Barns in Westchester County in September this year. I had exciting conversations with Whole Foods and General Mills executives, Kimbal Musk and the founders of Grubhub and FreshDirect. I walked away from the conference absolutely elated with amazing connections that have paid off with job offers and career advising. Also, the plethora of Michelin Star food for two days of breakfast, lunch, and dinner didn’t hurt!
