Center Conferences

The center produces the annual National HR in Hospitality Conference.  Over a decade ago Cornell’s ILR School and School of Hotel Administration (SHA) developed content for the inaugural HR In Hospitality Conference which was ran by our partner LRP Publications. In 2018, LRP graciously handed over the reins to our two Schools and we have now assumed sole responsibility for the production of the conference. We are very excited about this opportunity and hope you will consider attending this year’s conference.

Programming for the conference is developed by David Sherwyn, the John and Melissa Ceriale Professor of Hospitality Human Resources at SHA and director of the Cornell Center for Innovative Hospitality Labor and Employment Relations, and his co-chair, Bruce Tracey, a professor of management at SHA.

The center is also a major supporter of and contributor to other industry events, such as the annual Hotel and Lodging Legal Summit at Georgetown Law and the ALIS Law Conference.
