As part of the Center for Sustainable Global Enterprise’s 20th anniversary, we will highlight 20 influential or notable alumni in the field of sustainability in 2024.
You can help by nominating notable alumni engaged in and/or have demonstrated notable leadership, impact, and/or achievements in the domain of sustainability (environmental and/or social impact) in their careers and/or personal pursuits. We are looking to highlight a diverse set of alumni.
Nominees will be reviewed by a committee and finalists will be featured throughout 2024.
Selection Criteria: Demonstrated excellence in at least one of the following three pillars: 1) professional success; 2) level of involvement in their personal and/or professional community; and 3) level of engagement with the Cornell community. Nominees may be at any stage of their career and working in any industry.
Nomination Process and Eligibility: Nominees must have graduated from Cornell University, and preferably collaborated and/or interacted with the Center for Sustainable Global Enterprise over the past 20 years. You do not need to be a Cornell alumnus to make a nomination. First round nominations will be accepted through January 31, 2024 and second round nominations will close on July 15.

Over the past 20 years, the Center for Sustainable Global Enterprise has worked to ensure MBA students gain the knowledge and experience they need to be leaders in today’s marketplace. As we look ahead, we are reevaluating the future needs and skills essential for students to effectively manage the complex social and environmental issues facing companies in a rapidly evolving global landscape. What are the core skills and tools students need to be prepared to lead on pressing global challenges like climate change and inequality? Join us for an interactive workshop during our 20th anniversary year to help shape the future of management education at Cornell.
