Kunal Ghosh, MBA '03

Biography

Kunal Ghosh is a senior managing director and chief investment officer of the Virtus Systematic team of Virtus Investment Advisers, Inc. The Virtus Systematic team manages U.S. mutual funds for Virtus Investment Advisers, Inc. and other portfolios for Virtus Fund Advisers, LLC.

Prior to joining Virtus in 2022, Mr. Ghosh was a portfolio manager and a managing director with Allianz Global Investors, which he joined in 2006. Mr. Ghosh has 20 years of investment industry experience. He was previously a research associate and portfolio manager for Barclays Global Investors, where he built and implemented models for portfolio management. Before that, Mr. Ghosh was a quantitative analyst for the Cayuga Hedge Fund.

Mr. Ghosh earned a B.Tech. from the Indian Institute of Technology, an M.S. in material engineering from the University of British Columbia and an MBA from Cornell University. He began his career in the investment industry in 2003.
