Biography
Keith Kefgen ’84 is one of the foremost experts in hospitality executive search and is a sought‑after speaker on leadership trends in the industry. After graduating from the Cornell School of Hotel Administration, Kefgen began his career at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel before moving into executive search. Prior to co‑founding AETHOS™, he served as CEO and co‑founder of HVS Executive Search.
Kefgen has written extensively on executive selection, pay‑for‑performance, corporate governance and leadership. His book Loneliness of Leadership is available through LuLu Publishing. He also produced the Cannes Film Festival award‑winning short film The Power of Advice.
