Biography
Yuchan Wang is Senior Manager of Sustainable Finance at the UN Global Compact, where she leads initiatives that help mobilize private capital toward the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Her work focuses on sustainable finance, blended finance, corporate investment, and data-driven approaches to capital allocation, working closely with multinational companies, investors, development finance institutions, and the United Nations.
Prior to joining the UN Global Compact, Yuchan worked across sustainable investing, urban sustainability, and international development with organizations including UN-Habitat, and asset management firms. She holds an MBA from Cornell University, where she was an Environmental Finance & Impact Investing Fellow, and an M.Sc. in Creative Sustainability from Aalto University in Finland.
She enjoys mentoring students who are interested in careers at the intersection of finance, sustainability, and global development, and is passionate about helping others navigate international career paths.
