Andrew Whitmore

Biography
Andrew Whitmore is an associate teaching professor in information systems at the Cornell Peter and Stephanie Nolan School of Hotel Administration, part of the Cornell SC Johnson College of Business. His teaching and research focus on decision support systems, economics of information and IT enabled supply chains.
Whitmore’s work has appeared in Information Systems Frontiers, Government Information Quarterly, Communications of the Association for Information Systems and IEEE Software, along with other journals and conferences.
Before joining Cornell, Whitmore served on the faculty at the University of South Florida–Sarasota and Simmons College in Boston. He also worked as an economist for the Consumer Price Index and as an IT auditor at Ernst & Young in New York City.
