Biography
Andrew Novakovic is the E.V. Baker Professor of Agricultural Economics Emeritus at the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management. His interests and expertise are in understanding the economics of agricultural and food product markets, with a particular focus on dairy foods. This includes the economics of market coordination and pricing, the operation of food processing and marketing firms, and the economic regulation of marketing and pricing activities.
Although no longer actively engaged in research and teaching activities, Novakovic remains professionally active through interactions with industry and government. Since 2022 he has been employed as an expert consultant with the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
