Adam Walden

Biography
Adam Walden is an assistant teaching professor of management communication at the Cornell Peter and Stephanie Nolan School of Hotel Administration, part of the Cornell SC Johnson College of Business. He teaches a freshman core course in business writing and an upper division elective in intercultural communication.
Walden’s teaching and research interests include collaborative writing, technology, document design, and writing pedagogy. Before entering academia, he worked as a government international trade specialist, helping U.S. businesses expand into global markets. He has studied and worked in China and Hungary.
Prior to joining Cornell, Walden taught at Ithaca College and Westminster College. He earned an MBA with an emphasis in international business, and a B.S. in speech communication.
