Biography

Carla Ingrando serves on the Alumni Affairs and Development team for the Cornell SC Johnson College of Business, where she is charged with strengthening alumni relations and maximizing philanthropy for the college.

Ingrando is excited to have taught her first philanthropic leadership course in collaboration with The Philanthropy Lab in fall 2023. At Cornell, she previously served as executive director of university corporate and foundation relations and interim assistant dean for alumni affairs and development for the Cornell Ann S. Bowers College of Computing and Information Science.

Prior to joining Cornell, Ingrando served as the senior director of foundation relations at the University of Notre Dame. Before embarking on a career in university development, she was a faculty member at Denison University and Marylhurst University, and worked as a program officer for the Michigan Humanities Council.

Ingrando holds a PhD in religious ethics from Notre Dame, MDiv from Vanderbilt University, MPA from the University of South Carolina, and BA from Furman University. In addition to her work, Ingrando enjoys reading, hiking, and traveling to warm destinations, particularly during the month of February.
