Biography

Fridah is a Professor of Practice in Applied Economics and Management and the Executive Director of the Student Multidisciplinary Applied Research Teams (SMART) Program at the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management and SC Johnson College of Business at Cornell University. Trained first as an international business administrator and later as a social scientist, she has worked, and supported various organizations and projects internationally. Before joining Cornell, Fridah was Director of Monitoring and Evaluation at the United Soybean Board (a USDA agricultural commodity research program) overseeing the development of the organization's first measurement evaluation and learning (MEL) system and supporting the development of the organization’s five-year strategic plan (2022-2027). Before, she served as an Evaluation and Research Specialist for the Area Resources for Community & Human Services (ARCHS) and Research Assistant in USAID- FtF Soybean Innovation Labs and Climate Resilient Beans (2014 – 2020).
