Biography

Stephen Shu is a professor of practice of behavioral economics at Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management at Cornell University. He has more than three decades of industry experience and is perhaps most recognized for helping to incubate some of the very first behavioral economics initiatives around the world in the commercial sector. Example organizations he has worked with or consulted to include Acorns, Digital Nudging Tech, Allianz Global Investors, Allscripts, Mercer, Voya Financial, and WisdomTree. Prior to his work in behavioral economics, Shu ran the global carrier business consulting practice for Nortel and worked as a management consultant at PRTM (acquired by PwC).
