Ben Davison is a Managing Director and Co-Head of Hospitality on the Real Estate Equity team at BDT & MSD Partners. The firm’s real estate strategy follows a fundamental, value-oriented approach, seeking high-quality assets with significant barriers to entry and strong long-term growth characteristics.

BDT & MSD’s hospitality portfolio includes Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea and Four Seasons Resort Hualalai in Hawaii, Four Seasons Resort and Residences Vail, Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole, Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World® Resort, The Boca Raton, Waldorf Astoria Washington D.C., and multiple large-scale developments, including the newly opened Naples Beach Club, comprising a Four Seasons Resort and Discovery Land Company Residences and Club, and the soon-to-open Knox Street in Dallas, anchored by an Auberge Collection Hotel and Residences.

Prior to joining BDT & MSD in early 2021, Davison oversaw hotel acquisitions, development, and asset management for RFR Holding, whose hospitality assets included W South Beach in Miami, 11 Howard in New York City, and The Jaffa Hotel in Tel Aviv, among others. Before that, he worked at Hotel Capital Advisors, an affiliate of Kingdom Holding, where he provided asset management and transactional services for hotel real estate investments, including Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris, The Savoy in London, and The Plaza in New York City, as well as brand investments, including Four Seasons, Fairmont, and Mövenpick, in North America and Europe. He began his career at Ernst & Young.

Davison earned a B.S. from the Nolan School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University, with a concentration in Real Estate, and serves on its Dean’s Advisory Board. He is a member of the AH&LA Investment Roundtable and a Board Observer for Auberge Collection. Davison also serves as a National Board Member for the Culinary Careers Program (C•CAP), a national workforce development nonprofit dedicated to training and supporting the next generation of food and hospitality leaders.

He resides in New York City with his wife, Dr. Janette Davison ’05, and their two children.
