Biography
Zakayo Zakaria is a Research Fellow cum Monitoring and Evaluation Expert at the Economic and Social Research Foundation (ESRF) in Tanzania. He is also a PhD student in Economics at the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. His research focuses on improving development outcomes in low and middle-income countries, with particular interests in aging and pension systems; education and youth empowerment; health economics and food security and nutrition. His work combines rigorous empirical methods with policy engagement, contributing to evidence-based decision-making in Tanzania and beyond.
