Biography

Adam Weissenberg is vice chairman and chief global officer for Deloitte’s U.S. audit and assurance practice and Asia-Pacific leader for the U.S. global office. He also serves on the Deloitte U.S. board of directors, where he is responsible for governance and oversight of the firm. In his global roles, Weissenberg helps drive strategy and align leadership across Deloitte’s most important international clients.

Weissenberg spent 18 years building Deloitte’s transportation, hospitality and services practice into one of the firm’s largest global industry groups, now comprising more than 1,500 professionals. He currently serves as a senior advisor to several Fortune 500 clients across the hospitality, gaming and food service sectors.

Based in New York, Weissenberg is a frequent commentator on travel and hospitality trends and has been featured in publications including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, USA Today, Forbes, Condé Nast Traveler and Travel + Leisure. He has also appeared on CNBC, Fox Business and Bloomberg.

With more than 25 years of experience in the industry, Weissenberg is a regular speaker at major conferences, including the World Travel & Tourism Council, the Americas Lodging Investment Summit and the NYU International Hospitality Industry Investment Conference, where he serves on the steering committee. He also serves on the Dean’s Advisory Board for the Cornell Peter and Stephanie Nolan School of Hotel Administration.

Outside Deloitte, Weissenberg serves on the board of the UJA-Federation of New York, where he chairs the audit committee, and on the board of The Cancer Hope Network.

Weissenberg earned a Bachelor of Science in hotel administration from Cornell University and an MBA from Columbia University.
