Biography
Alton F. “Rick” Doody III is founder and CEO of NCR Ventures, parent company of Cedar Creek Grille, 17 River Grille and Lindey’s Lake House. He has more than 40 years of experience in the restaurant industry and oversees each concept’s design, development, menu and overall direction. He also co-founded Bravo and Brio Italian restaurants with his brother, Chris.
Doody earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Ohio Wesleyan University and a master’s degree in hotel administration from the School of Hotel Administration (now the Cornell Peter and Stephanie Nolan School of Hotel Administration) at Cornell University.
He is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization and serves on the boards of Arhaus, Ohio Wesleyan University and the Dean’s Advisory Board at the Nolan School
Doody lives in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, with his wife, Wendy.
