Biography
Ann founded her own practice, Ascend Career Coaching, LLC in September 2025.
Prior to that, Ann had been part of the Alumni Career & Professional Development Team at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management for over 20 years. She has coached thousands of business school alumni globally, in addition to full-time and evening/weekend students, Ann has coached at all experience levels, from new graduates through senior management, with expertise across a wide range of industries and functions.
In addition, she has conducted a variety of career-related workshops and has also facilitated many job search accountability groups. With a passion for helping job seekers over the age of 50, she pioneered a series for experienced job seekers-“50 Tips for 50 Somethings.”
Ann is a graduate of Michigan State University and lives in the Grand Rapids area in Michigan. In her free time, she enjoys riding her horse, Nicholas.
