Biography

Donna L. Haeger a Professor of Practice at Cornell University’s S.C. Johnson College of Business, Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management, and the Academic Director of Curriculum for the School of Continuing Education’s BPS degree in Organizations, Markets and Society and where she brings expertise in business analytics, leadership, and management to support innovative and accessible education for diverse learners.

Dr. Haeger has more than 20 years of professional experience working across people, processes, and technology. She holds a Ph.D. in Management and Designing Sustainable Systems from Case Western Reserve University. At Cornell, she has designed and taught introductory through graduate-level courses in business analytics, including live, hybrid, and fully online formats and the global Business Analytics Certificate through eCornell. She chaired the task force that designed and launched Dyson’s business analytics concentration and currently serves as its coordinator. Her research explores technology in the workplace, leadership, and teams.

At the heart of Dr. Haeger’s work is a commitment to helping students—particularly adult and nontraditional learners—connect education to their individual goals. She strives to create flexible, engaging, inclusive learning environments that build confidence, develop practical skills, and make educational pathways achievable.

Beyond Cornell, Dr. Haeger contributes to her community through service, mentoring, and initiatives that promote financial literacy and lifelong learning.
