Mia Kyricos is a globally recognized thought leader with more than 25 years of experience building wellness, hospitality, lifestyle and travel brands across more than 100 countries. As president and founder of Kyricos & Associates LLC, a strategic advisory firm, Kyricos provides brand strategy, business development and operational insight to help organizations compete in the global wellness economy.

Previously, Kyricos served as senior vice president and global head of wellbeing at Hyatt, where she developed and led the company’s global wellbeing strategy, including products, services, partnerships and colleague wellbeing initiatives. Prior to Hyatt, Kyricos was chief brand officer of Spafinder Wellness Inc., where she led the company’s brand transformation and expanded its position as a global wellness platform.

Kyricos also served as vice president at EXOS, where she led growth of the company’s workplace wellness division on corporate campuses. Earlier, she was director of global spa brands at Starwood Hotels & Resorts, where she created multiple international spa brands and managed a global network of wellness destinations.

Her work has been featured in publications including The New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, CNN, Smart Money, Hotel Business, Travel Weekly, Lodging, Real Simple and MarketWatch.

Kyricos earned a Master of Management in hospitality from the School of Hotel Administration (now the Cornell Peter and Stephanie Nolan School of Hotel Administration) at Cornell University, where she was named alumna of the year in 2019, and a Bachelor of Arts in international relations from Wheaton College in Massachusetts.

She has served on the boards of the Global Wellness Summit and the University of California, Irvine, and currently serves on advisory boards for Cornell University, Wellness for Cancer and the Global Wellness Institute, a nonprofit organization she helped found.
