Biography
Hongyuan Xia is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Cornell University. His research focuses on knowledge production, diffusion, and commercialization. His work has received multiple recognitions, including Runner-Up in the INFORMS/Organization Science Best Dissertation Proposal Competition (2025), the Wharton Innovation Doctoral Symposium Best Paper Award (2025), and the DRUID Steven Klepper Best Paper Award. His research has also been presented at leading conferences, including the NBER Summer Institute. He received his B.A. in Economics from Peking University in 2020 and his Ph.D. in Economics from Cornell University in 2026.
