Biography
Jennifer Denno Cissé is the Sponsored Research Lead at Cornell’s CIDER, where she supports core faculty and STARS Fellows in securing and managing sponsored research. She curates funding opportunities, maintains a repository of successful proposals, facilitates proposal development and provides post-award technical support. Jenn has 15 years of experience in international development, proposal design and project implementation, including roles at USAID, the United Nations University Institute for Environment and Human Security and Abt Global. She has expertise at the intersection of research, policy and implementation, especially in the areas of climate risk, disaster risk finance and development resilience. Jenn holds a Ph.D. in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University.
