Biography

Joe Wilson identifies and manages targeted relationships with buyers of primary and secondary leveraged loans, and provides insights on underwriting and financial structures for LBOs, recapitalizations and refinancings. Wilson was previously a managing director at Citigroup, where he was a senior member of the loan sales and trading franchise. As a member of the leveraged credit sales team, he was responsible for primary loan, secondary loan, and structured credit sales to a diverse investor base. Prior to Citibank, Joe worked at JPMorgan in a variety of roles, including investment banking, commercial banking, and par and distressed loan sales and trading.

Wilson graduated with honors from North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University with a BS in accounting and holds an MBA in finance from the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell SC Johnson College of Business. He is a certified public accountant, a CFA Charter holder, and a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts. He and his wife, Donna, live in Montclair, NJ, with their son Joseph III (Trey).
