Biography
Kenneth M. Blatt ’81, P ’27 is a principal and managing partner of Dorado Beach Resort and CPG Real Estate. CPG has been an active investor in the Caribbean and Central America and, aside from Dorado Beach, is now focused on unique hospitality GP and residential development opportunities in the United States. Dorado Beach is an iconic, 1,900‑acre integrated community in Puerto Rico, where Blatt serves on the board of directors and oversees the executives who run the resort’s hotel, golf, membership and sales operations.
Blatt has more than 30 years of experience as an entrepreneur and angel investor in the United States, the Caribbean, Central America, and Central and Eastern Europe. From 1992 to 2000, he lived in Romania and Bulgaria, where he created leading service businesses in advertising and outdoor and print media. He is also a founding partner of Gemini Homes, a Southeast U.S. residential real estate developer and investor; an advisor and investor in ID Funds, an alternative investment platform for accredited investors; and a co‑founder and former director of HeyHolidays, an alternative accommodations marketplace based in Bangalore, India. He is an active investor in both hospitality and digital assets.
He is a graduate of the Cornell School of Hotel Administration, Emory Law School, and the Owner‑Director Certificate Program at INSEAD. He is an active board member of Cornell’s Pillsbury Institute for Hospitality Entrepreneurship Advisory Board, serves on the Cornell University Council, is former chair of the Core Club House Committee in New York City and is vice chair of the board of trustees and chair of the Advancement Committee at Saint Andrew’s School in Boca Raton, Florida.
