Biography
Liz Arnold is the Founder & CEO of Digital Orchards, a coaching firm that helps high-achieving professionals pursue careers in tech, startups, and social impact. Arnold has helped thousands of students and clients to land jobs at all of the major tech companies and many pre-IPO startups. For 20+ years, Liz has built impactful programs that guide emerging and established leaders through career transitions and professional growth.
Previously at Cornell, Arnold served as Associate Director for Tech, Entrepreneurship & Venture Capital, building professional development programs and coaching MBA students in career strategy, resume/pitch development, interview preparation, and offer negotiation. She previously developed technical hiring and educational programs at Google & MIT, built a university recruiting program at Endeca (exit to Oracle), and managed graduate leadership fellowship programs at Harvard Kennedy School’s Center for Public Leadership. Earlier in her career, she led marketing & membership at an early social networking startup, and began her career with roles at Ogilvy & McKinsey.
Arnold was recently appointed the Cramer Family Foundation Professor of Practice in Community Impact at the Maxwell School of Citizenship & Public Affairs at Syracuse University, where she focuses on developing the next generation of public service leaders. Before that, she served as Director of Leadership Engagement & Impact at the Truman National Security Project, where she launched innovative training and leadership engagement programs for the entire membership community and beyond.
She received her undergraduate degree from Princeton University, her Master’s in Higher Education from the University of Arizona, and her MBA in International Organizations from the University of Geneva.
