Biography

Minmo Gahng is an assistant professor of finance at the Cornell SC Johnson College of Business. His research examines puzzling patterns in venture capital, private equity, and IPO markets, revealing how the underlying economics can differ from headline valuations and performance measures. Professor Gahng has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, Reuters, Forbes, NPR, Marketplace, and The Hill. His research has been cited by the U.S. Congress, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and Goldman Sachs.
