Biography
Mary Ross joined the Management and Organizations PhD program in 2023. In her current research projects, she investigates 1) how the specific words and presentation tactics people use in communication shape our interpersonal impressions of them, 2) how the different components of peoples’ intersectional identities shape our impressions of them, and 3) how theory-driven interventions can promote the positive or attenuate the negative implications derived from social workplace interactions. Prior to joining the PhD program at Johnson, she received a BA from Boston College and an MS from the University of Chicago.
