Biography
Nick Grandstaff is a Ph.D candidate in the Dyson School of Applied Economics at Cornell University and is on the 2026-2027 job market. His research interests center on topics relating to food security and poverty alleviation, with subfields of labor, behavioral, and agricultural economics. He has completed coursework at Cornell University (Ph.D, M.S.), Wageningen University (postgrad), the University of Iowa (B.B.A.), and Iowa Lakes Community College (A.S.). Nick is a former Fulbright grant recipient to the Netherlands (2019-2020) and has further international experience with fieldwork in south India and northern Ghana.
