Biography
Cecilia Lam is currently a PhD student in Operations, Technology & Information Management (OTIM) at Cornell’s SC Johnson College of Business. Before joining the PhD program in 2024, she obtained her BEng in Decision Analytics and BBA in General Business Management from the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology (HKUST). Her research lies at the intersection of behavioral operations management and emerging AI capabilities, with a focus on how the allocation of decision rights between consumers and AI reshapes how they search, evaluate and value products.
