Biography

Steven Hurowitz is chief executive officer of HB Capital Group and has more than 35 years of experience in the real estate industry.

HB Capital Group is a privately held real estate investment company based in Miami. The firm specializes in acquiring and managing value‑add hospitality, retail, residential, office and industrial assets in primary and secondary markets across the United States. Hurowitz and his team apply a focused, operational approach to each asset, leveraging deep industry experience to operate efficiently and provide high‑quality space and service to tenants and guests.

Current hospitality projects include the repositioning of a beachfront resort in Miami, the renovation of a full‑service Marriott near Ann Arbor and the ground‑up development of a full‑service hotel in downtown Orlando. HB is also a partner in more than a dozen hotels and serves as a strategic investor and advisor to several hospitality and travel‑related companies.

Hurowitz holds an undergraduate degree from Tufts University and an MBA from Columbia University.
