Susan Guerin '83

Biography
Susan Guerin ’83 is a respected business leader known for driving change and improving profitability while supporting top-line growth. With extensive international experience in consumer products, retail and apparel, she has worked with both multinational and domestic organizations.
In 2013, Guerin joined World Finer Foods as chief financial officer, overseeing finance, strategy, information technology and supply chain. She was named president in 2014 and chief executive officer in 2015.
As managing partner of Stratham Hills Partners, Guerin advised clients on strategy development and execution and supported entrepreneurs in launching startups and achieving liquidity events. Previously, she served as senior vice president and chief financial officer at Sun Chemical, where she led finance, information technology, shared services and customer service, and oversaw the global packaging solutions business.
She also served as president of the Americas apparel business at Paxar, where Guerin led a successful turnaround and established market leadership. Earlier in her career, Guerin was chief financial officer of the vehicle services division at Cendant Corp. and chief financial officer of Lerner New York. She began her career at Unilever, holding management roles in the United States and internationally.
Guerin has served on the boards of Vyteris Corp., Paralec Corp. and Dr. Park Avenue and currently serves on the boards of Smith Foods and Down the Block. She has been recognized for her leadership at World Finer Foods, including receiving the Brava Award honoring top female CEOs and being named a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award. She is a member of PCCW, CAAAN, and has served as a Cornell class board member and reunion chair.
She holds an MBA from New York University and a Bachelor of Science from the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University.
