Biography
Sush Torgalkar is a founding partner of Sagehall, a privately held real estate investment firm focused on undervalued assets in the New York City area. He has extensive experience in real estate investment and operations.
Prior to founding Sagehall, Torgalkar served as president and chief executive officer of Extell Development Co., where he led a portfolio of large-scale development projects spanning residential, office, retail and hospitality sectors. Extell has developed more than 25 million square feet across dozens of projects and operates as a fully integrated real estate platform.
Before joining Extell, he spent more than 18 years at Westbrook Partners, where he served as managing principal and chief operating officer. In this role, he coordinated the firm’s global operations, including acquisitions, asset management and investor relations, and served on the investment committee. Westbrook manages real estate investments on behalf of institutional investors globally.
Torgalkar began his career in real estate investment banking at Merrill Lynch. He earned a Bachelor of Science in hotel administration from the School of Hotel Administration (now the Cornell Peter and Stephanie Nolan School of Hotel Administration) at Cornell University in 1999.
He serves on the Dean’s Advisory Board for the Nolan School and on the board of trustees for Rye Country Day School. He previously served on the board of trustees for St. Edward High School.
