Biography
Sush Torgalkar, managing partner of Sagehall, has been an active real estate investor for more than 25 years and leads the firm’s investment committee. Over his career, Torgalkar has worked on complex real estate transactions around the world across major property types. He most recently served as president and chief executive officer of Extell Development Co., a full service developer and owner of residential, office, retail and hospitality properties.
Before joining Extell, Torgalkar was a managing principal and chief operating officer at Westbrook Partners. He spent more than 18 years at the firm, where he sat on the investment committee and oversaw global operations, including acquisition, asset management and investor relations. He began his career in 1999 in the real estate investment banking group at Merrill Lynch.
Torgalkar earned a bachelor’s degree from the Nolan School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University, where he serves on the Dean’s Advisory Board.
