Biography

Warren Fields is a senior executive with more than three decades of experience in hospitality acquisitions, development, finance and operations. As a founding partner of Pyramid Hotel Group, he has overseen the company’s growth for more than 22 years, expanding its portfolio to approximately 150 properties across the United States, the Caribbean and Western Europe. Before serving as president and CEO, Fields was chief investment officer at Pyramid Hotel Group, where he led business development efforts, including acquisitions, third-party management and asset management contracts, fundraising, development and mergers and acquisitions.

He previously served as vice president of development and operations for Promus Hotel Corp., where Fields developed and implemented a strategy to launch a new hotel brand that grew to 30 properties. Following the company’s sale to Hilton Hotel Corp. in 1999, he returned to Boston to form Pyramid Hotel Group.

Fields began his career with Beacon Hotel Corp., a predecessor to Promus, where he served as vice president of development for Guest Quarters Hotels and later DoubleTree. He is a graduate of the School of Hotel Administration (now the Cornell Peter and Stephanie Nolan School of Hotel Administration) at Cornell University and a member of the Dean’s Advisory Board.

In 2019, Fields was appointed to the board of directors of the Massachusetts Port Authority. He also serves on the board of Independent Bank Corp., parent company of Rockland Trust Co.
