Biography
Xiangyin Chen is a current Ph.D. student in OTIM at SC Johnson College of Business. His research lies at the intersection of operations management, statistics, and machine learning, where he develops theoretically rigorous and practically deployable methods for data-driven decision-making under uncertainty. His current research topics include contextual pricing, humanitarian logistics, and novel inventory strategies. Before joining Cornell, he obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Mathematics from Renmin University of China and his Master’s degree in Computational Finance from Carnegie Mellon University.
