Students gain hands-on hospitality and leadership experience through paid operational roles at The Statler Hotel.

The Cornell Peter and Stephanie Nolan School of Hotel Administration and The Statler Hotel have Student Employment Opportunities available throughout the academic year and the summer. Student jobs range from entry level positions in both Operations and Support divisions with promotional opportunities in most areas. Students can expect hands on practical experience, flexible work schedules and a supportive work environment. Student employment opportunities are managed through Workday and require a Cornell NetID.

Hotel leadership Development Program

HLDP offers School of Hotel Administration student employees professional growth through experiential learning within the framework of an academic environment. Exposure to hotel operations offers meaningful learning opportunities, challenging a student’s ability to apply critical thinking and management theory to personal experience. Interaction with hospitality leaders enables students to establish professional relationships that facilitate and help define their professional path prior to graduation.
