Funding opportunities
The Cañizares Center for Emerging Markets Fellows Program is a unique opportunity for exceptional students to gain hands-on experience in events organization and work with leaders in emerging markets. As a Fellow, you will have the chance to collaborate with other students and professionals from diverse backgrounds, participate in the organization of competitions, attend seminars and panels on contemporaneous discussions, and develop blog and research on emerging markets business.

Emerging Markets Fellows funding
- Cañizares Fund for summer internship in emerging markets (applications by May 1)
Note: Students awarded the Cañizares Fund are not eligible for other funding. - Cañizares Fund for case competitions
- Cañizares Experiential Learning projects
- Foster Cunningham Fund to attend study treks
- Free entry and transport to the annual conference in NYC
- Expense reimbursement to emerging markets events (pre-approval is required)
What you will experience
- Organize events like the annual conference, Corning Case Competition, Mobius Pitch Competition, webinars and research focused on emerging markets
- Network with leaders in emerging markets
- Work with and develop relationships with graduate students from diverse backgrounds
Student groups
The center maintains strong ties with student business associations, and often jointly plans speaking events and panel discussions, such as:
