Cañizares Alumni Award
The award recognizes outstanding alumni from S.C. Johnson School of Management with international careers in emerging markets. The goal of the award is to engage Alumni with the EMI to benefit its mission & students and raise awareness of the long history of the S.C. Johnson School of Management’s contribution to global businesses.

- Engages Alumni with the EMI Institute to benefit its mission & students.
- Recognizes outstanding Cornell Johnson Alumni who have dedicated their careers to international & emerging markets.
How to nominate
The nominations for the 2025 Cañizares Award for Distinguished Alumni are open. In 2024, a record of 27 names were nominated. The award ceremony will happen during the 2025 EMI Conference, on November 7.
