The Johnson Recent Alumni Council (JRAC), an engaged group of recent graduates of the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management, is excited to announce the launch of its inaugural 10 Under 10 notable alumni list and the beginning of the nomination period.

Aimed at honoring ten notable alumni who are within ten years of graduation, 10 Under 10 notable alumni will be selected annually and recipients will be featured individually in profiles throughout the academic year.

Alumni honorees will be selected based on their demonstrated excellence in two of the following three pillars: professional success, level of involvement in their community, and level of engagement with the Cornell community. In certain cases, JRAC may select a recipient based on exemplary performance in one category.

“We created this recognition to both acknowledge recent alumni and to highlight the fact that so many Johnson alumni are accomplishing things soon after graduation,” said JRAC chair Patrick George, MBA ’13. “By celebrating those alumni now, we can encourage and inspire others.”

The 10 Under 10 notable alumni list will underscore the value that Johnson brings to the alumni community, to current and prospective employers, and to the community at large.

How to nominate a Johnson graduate

Anyone is eligible to submit a nomination and alumni may self-nominate. Nominees must have graduated within the last ten years and must hold a Johnson MBA degree or a specialized master’s degree from Johnson (MPS in Management or MPS in Management – Accounting Specialization). This year, eligible classes range from the class of 2011 to the class of 2021.

To nominate a Johnson graduate to the 10 Under 10 notable alumni list, please use the 10 Under 10 notable alumni nomination form. You are welcome to share the form with others interested in nominating potential recipients.

When you nominate a Johnson graduate for the 10 Under 10 notable alumni list, you will be asked to provide basic information plus supplemental material about the nominee. The nominee will then be contacted automatically and asked to submit additional relevant material to ensure his or her nomination is complete. Recipients will be announced in September 2021.
