The Cornell SC Johnson College of Business is excited to announce the launch of its 10 Under 10 notable alumni list for 2023-24 and the beginning of the nomination period.

Created in 2021 by the Johnson Recent Alumni Council (JRAC), an engaged group of recent graduates of the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management, the original 10 Under 10 list honored ten notable Johnson School alumni who were within ten years of graduation.

This year, the SC Johnson College is pleased to announce that it has expanded this honor to alumni of the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management and the Cornell Peter and Stephanie Nolan School of Hotel Administration who have graduated within the past ten years.

Honorees are featured individually in profiles throughout the academic year. Read about the stellar alumni who have been featured as Johnson 10 Under 10 honorees since 2021.

Alumni honorees are selected based on their demonstrated excellence in at least one of the following three pillars: professional success, level of involvement in their community, and level of engagement with the Cornell community.

The 10 Under 10 notable alumni list underscores the value that the SC Johnson College brings to the alumni community, to current and prospective employers, and to the community at large.

How to nominate an SC Johnson College graduate for the notable alumni list

Anyone is eligible to submit a nomination but alumni may not self-nominate. Nominees must have graduated within the last ten years and must hold a degree from one of the three schools in the SC Johnson College: the Dyson School, the Nolan Hotel School, or the Johnson School. This year, eligible classes range from the class of 2014 to the class of 2023.

To nominate an SC Johnson College graduate to the 10 Under 10 notable alumni list, please use the 10 Under 10 notable alumni nomination form. You are welcome to share the form with others interested in nominating potential recipients. Nominees will then be reviewed by members of all three recent alumni councils of the SC Johnson College: the Dean’s Council of Young Alumni (Nolan Hotel School), the Dyson Recent Alumni Council, and the Johnson Recent Alumni Council.

When you nominate a graduate for the 10 Under 10 notable alumni list, you will be asked to provide basic information plus supplemental material about the nominee. The nomination period will close on October 31. Recipients will be announced in late November 2023.

About the Recent Alumni Councils of the SC Johnson College of Business

The SC Johnson College of Business is home to three recent alumni councils: the Dean’s Council of Young Alumni (Nolan Hotel School), the Dyson Recent Alumni Council, and the Johnson Recent Alumni Council. Each group is made up of engaged recent graduates of their respective schools who are dedicated to enhancing the student and recent alumni experience as well as the broader college community.

The councils work closely with their respective school deans, with Andrew Karolyi, Charles Field Knight Dean of the SC Johnson College, and with college staff to assist in implementing the school’s strategic goals. Members serve on various committees throughout the year. Members are invited to serve through a formal nominating process managed by the nominating committee. They are appointed by their respective deans. For more information on these councils, please reach out to Anna Kimble, associate director, recent alumni programs, SC Johnson College of Business, at Johnson Alumni Affairs and Development alumni@johnson.cornell.edu.
