CEMS Master in International Management
Invest three semesters and graduate with two internationally recognized credentials, global experience and a clear path into international business roles.
If your career goals extend beyond a single country, market or industry, the CEMS Master in International Management (MIM) is designed for that path. Through Cornell’s partnership with the global CEMS alliance, you’ll combine rigorous business education with international study, an overseas internship and direct engagement with multinational organizations.
As the only university in the United States selected to represent the CEMS alliance, Cornell offers access to a truly global educational experience. You’ll graduate with both a Cornell MPS in Applied Economics and Management and the CEMS Master in International Management, along with access to two powerful professional networks: more than 250,000 Cornell alumni and 13,000+ CEMS alumni worldwide.
Why this matters now
Organizations increasingly operate across borders, requiring professionals who can navigate different markets, cultures and business environments. Employers are looking for graduates who can work effectively in international teams, solve complex global challenges and adapt quickly to change.
The earlier you develop international experience and a global professional network, the more opportunities you’ll have to build a career that isn’t limited by geography.
Program snapshot
The CEMS MIM combines Cornell’s MPS in AEM with one of the world’s most recognized global management credentials. You’ll study at Cornell and a CEMS partner school abroad, complete an international internship and work on a consulting project for a multinational organization.
This program provides access to a global network of leading business schools, more than 80 multinational corporate partners and a worldwide community of students and alumni. Through international coursework, cross-cultural collaboration, employer engagement and real-world business projects, you’ll develop the skills, experience and global perspective needed to launch a global career that spans countries, industries and markets.
An international educational alliance
CEMS selects only one university in each country to represent the alliance. In the United States, that institution is Cornell University’s Dyson School. Other top global member institutions include the London School of Economics and Political Science, the Stockholm School of Economics, HEC Paris and Tsinghua University in China. One hallmark of the CEMS experience is the CEMS exchange, which offers graduate students the opportunity to spend a semester living and learning at one of these affiliated schools.
CEMS also partners with more than 80 multinational corporations. Through the program, you’ll work directly with multinational organizations through consulting projects, networking events, internships and recruiting opportunities.
