Finance research at the Johnson School

The academic discipline of finance focuses on the financial structure and problems of corporations; how financial securities are priced; and the organization and operation of markets and financial institutions. As a scholar of finance, you can examine things like how conflict of interest affects financial policy or how investor psychology impacts pricing. 

As you complete your concentration coursework, you’ll develop an idea for your dissertation and start to form your faculty committee.
